Veterans Drive from 29th Street south to Bennett Avenue will be closed for approximately two weeks due to construction ongoing for the South Sioux City Wastewater Improvement Project.
This major project is working to allow South Sioux City to fully treat and handle its own wastewater instead of pumping to Sioux City. The pipeline work along Veterans Drive in this area is the last major stretch of pipeline work needed.
A detour route will be in effect directing traffic to use G Street and 29th Street. Local residents along Bennett Avenue will have full access during this period.
