Royalty was crowned on the opening night of the Dakota-Thurston County Fair Wednesday as the Prince and Princess were named.
Honored as princess was Skylar Buderus and Anson Albrecht was selected as prince.
Runner-ups were Mylie Mitchell for princess and Brooks Estochen as prince.
Fair activities continue Thursday through Saturday at the Dakota County Fairgrounds in South Sioux City.
