Weather permitting, work will begin June 27 on railroad crossing on U.S. Highway 75 (US -75), from reference post 183.58 to reference post 184.28, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
BNSF Railway will be installing new crossing signals over southbound lanes of traffic on US-75 beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27. Southbound lanes will be closed from Atokad Road to Broadway Ave. There will be a detour in place during this time period. Anticipated completion is 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 28.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
