M Avenue road project to begin

Posted

Residents in Hubbard and those traveling to Danish Alps Recreation Area will experience some traffic detours as road construction was scheduled to begin this week.

The Dakota County Roads Department, in conjunction with the Village of Hubbard, is starting a paving project on M Avenue traveling south from Poplar Street to 200th Street. The village is also having road work done on M Avenue south to Highway 35, so both projects will be done simultaneously.

The road will be closed to all traffic during construction. Detour routes include from 203rd to 197th and north on I Avenue to Highway 35. South Bluff Road from 200th Street to Highway 35 is also an option.
