The Homer Lady Knights will face Maywood/Hayes Center at home Friday for a shot at qualifying for the state tournament.
The 23-2 Lady Knights, who haven’t been to state since 2014, are the No. 5 seed in the Class C-2 Sweet 16 and will host the Wolves, who enter Friday’s matchup with a 21-5 record.
The winner of Friday’s game advances to the state tournament, which begins Thursday, March 6 in Lincoln.
