The Homer Lady Knights will be the sixth seed and face nearby opponent Oakland-Craig in the opening round of the Class C-2 bracket at the Nebraska State Girls Basketball Championships.
The battle of Lady Knights will take place at 3:15 p.m. at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Oakland-Craig is the third seed with a 23-3 record and have not faced the 24-2 Lady Knights this season.
The matchup will be the last of the four first-round games in the Class C-2 bracket. All C-2 games will be playe at the Devaney Center, starting with Johnson-Brock vs. Guardian Angels Central Catholic at 9 a.m.
Winners advance to Friday’s semifinals, which will also be at the Devaney Center. The consolation game will be played Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lincoln Standing Bear High School, with the finals set or 4:15 p.m. Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
