A huge turnout for Saturday’s Extreme Bull Riding event highlighted the fourth of five days at the 2025 Dakota-Thurston County Fair.
The last of the 4-H shows took place with goats in the morning and horses in the midday. Other activities included a cornhole tournament, kids pedal tractor pull, an open jackpot cattle show and more. About 60 kis participated in the mutton bustin’ competition prior to the evening’s main event, with the top 10 advancing to the finals later that evening.
The final day of the Dakota-Thurston County Fair comes Sunday with an open horse show, a Mexican-style rodeo, a free movie, round-robin showmanship and a bonus auction.
