Weather permitting, work will begin the week of Aug. 11 on U.S. Highway 75 (US-75), north of Homer, from reference point 176.01 to reference point 181.46, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Constructors, Inc., of Lincoln, is the contractor. Work includes fly ash shoulder re-stabilization, asphalt shoulder surfacing, earth shoulder construction and seeding. Traffic will be restricted to one lane using flaggers. Anticipated completion is late summer 2025.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
