South Sioux City Community Schools announced Tuesday that four South Sioux City High School seniors have been nominated as 2025–2026 Believers & Achievers by the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA).
SSC senior nominated included Madelynn Bohnet, Luke McGinty, Leandro Magana Magana, and Nathan Robles.
“I’m not surprised by any of those names. What a group!” said Jeff Squier, SSC activities director.
The Believers & Achievers program recognizes 48 high school seniors across Nebraska who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, and school and community involvement.
These Cardinal leaders embody the program’s core values of good citizenship, academic achievement, and service.
From this group of 48 statewide honorees, eight students will be selected to receive a $500 scholarship to the college or university of their choice.
