The pairings for high school boys basketball tournaments have been announced by the NSAA with play to begin next week.
In the C2-5 subdistrict, Ponca is seeded third out of six teams and will open play Monday against No. 6-seeded Stanton in a 7:30 p.m. matchuip. The winner plays No. 2 seeded West Holt in Tuesday’s 7:30 p.m. semifinal, with winner going to Thursday’s 7 p.m. championship game.
Homer faces Lutheran High Northeast and Tri County Northeast will square off against Omaha Nation in the first round of the C2-5 subdistrict. Winners of both games will advance to the semifinals in their sixt-team district.
Subdistrict winners and six wild cards advance to the district finals next at locations to be named end.
